Week 8, our last of this “trip of a lifetime”… was spent in Payson, AZ for Neighborhood Ministries Jr. High Summer Camp. We enjoyed the outdoors, beautiful people, and lots of fun activities. A sweet leader made Halle a princess crown
lots of singing and dancing
We jumped cliffs (sadly no pictures) …hiked to a lake to catch crawdads
Enjoyed Christopher Creek
Sweet kids, circling up- sharing in the moment
A girl leader and her campers sent us home with sweet notes. It was a fruitful week. We learned a lot and continue to become who we were made to be.
One last picture before we headed home to Phoenix. Man, were we all excited!
Coming down into the valley, we saw our state’s beauty with new eyes. After seeing all the different sceneries for two months, it was amazing to see the desert beauty.
Made it to the new home
Kids checked out their new empty rooms. We are ready to cozy it up and make memories
Then we were greeted with lots of love at Nonnie and Poppy’s
Finally reunited with our beloved little Lucy:)
Well, it’s over. The physical trip is over. The memories, lessons, revelations and more will be alive for many months and years to come, continually unraveling in our hearts and minds.
We are home. We are here, for this time, to continue this journey of life. Love to each of you where you are in your journey. May you find peace, wholeness, and contentedness in your home and with those around you.
Cheers… to saying “yes” to adventure… “yes” to the impossible… and “yes” to simplicity.
Thank you Amy & Jeff for all the wonderful updates and photo’s . I have really enjoyed them. So thankful you kids are home safe. God bless you, aunt Jo
